Design Senior Visual Designer | Bankrate at Red Ventures

Senior Visual Designer creates high-performance marketing creative across paid social, email, display, and direct mail, balancing rapid iteration with brand consistency.

Senior Hybrid Posted 13 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

*This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates (East Coast preference), with hybrid being central to our New York, NY or Charlotte area offices.

For the Bankrate website click here. Curious how Bankrate fits into Red Ventures? Click here.

We’re looking for a Senior Visual Designer to own visual execution across our marketing channels, from paid social and display to email, landing pages, and direct mail. This is a high-output, performance-oriented role for someone who understands that great creative drives results and who can move fast without sacrificing craft. You’ll be embedded in the marketing team, working closely with performance marketing and lifecycle managers to translate strategy into creative that converts. You’ll be in the room where testing strategy happens, contributing to hypotheses, designing for iteration, and using performance data to sharpen your own work.

What You’ll Do:

  • Performance Marketing Creative: Produce assets to support paid social and display channels. Build modular systems that support rapid iteration across hooks, formats, and CTAs.
  • Creative testing: Translate testing hypotheses into distinct creative variants with format-native execution across placements.
  • Volume with craft: Maintain high output without defaulting to templated work. Know when to simplify, and how to do it in ways that still convert.
  • Email design: Design templates and campaign assets that balance brand consistency with performance. Support A/B testing of formats, layouts, and CTAs across trigger-based and broadcast campaigns.
  • Template systems: Build a modular email design system lifecycle can deploy across segments without custom design on every send.
  • Direct mail creative: Own design for direct mail campaigns — envelope creative, inserts, and self-mailers — within print specs, production timelines, and physical format constraints.
  • Brand and asset management: Steward Bankrate’s visual identity across channels, identify drift proactively, and maintain organized design files that make handoffs clean and iteration fast.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Performance design track record: Experience designing for paid digital channels with direct accountability to performance metrics. Portfolio shows meaningful breadth across social, display, email, and landing pages.
  • Multi-channel fluency: You’ve designed across paid social, email, display, and landing pages and understand the format constraints, attention dynamics, and creative conventions of each.
  • Systems thinker: You build design systems, not one-offs. You create modular templates, maintain asset libraries, and design with the next ten variations in mind.
  • Creative under constraints: You do your best work inside tight parameters: a specific CTA, a narrow format, a required disclosure. You find the creative solution within the guardrails, not despite them.
  • Collaborative and fast: You work well with non-designers, can take direction from a performance manager, push back when the brief is wrong, and move quickly without waiting for perfect inputs.
  • Tool proficiency: Expert in Figma. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or Premiere). Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email implementation is a plus.
  • AI-forward practitioner: You actively use AI tools and have a point of view on where they create real leverage in visual design, and where they fall short.

Compensation:

This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.

  • Total Cash Compensation Range: $100,000 – $150,000 per year

Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision)
  • Life Insurance
  • Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Holiday Pay
  • 401(k) with match
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid Parental Bonding Benefit Program
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe time to rest and recharge is essential.  That’s why we offer a generous and flexible PTO policy.  Full-time employees accrue 20 days of PTO for a full calendar year annually, with an increase to 25 days after five years of service.

The right person will bring strong apparel design experience, technical design knowledge, material and textile expertise, and the ability to present creative concepts with confidence. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where innovation, commercial viability, and client impact all matter.

• Innovative Design Thinking: Create breakthrough products across various categories, including knits, wovens, tops, and bottoms in all departments, Men’s Women’s, and Kid’s.

• Design Development: Lead the design process from conceptualization to final product, ensuring excellence in performance, function, and aesthetics.

• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with Sales, Merchandising, Sourcing, Product Development, Fit, to ideate, refine, and evolve design concepts, always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

• Pressure-Test Assumptions: Oversee the design process by conducting wear-testing, validation, and material development, ensuring each idea is tested rigorously and refined to meet client standards.

• Storytelling & Communication: Prepare compelling presentations that communicate the innovation behind your designs-crafting narratives, toolboxes, and frameworks that bring your concepts to life for key stakeholders.

• Development & Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise with teammates, helping them grow and develop their own design skills. Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment that elevates the entire team.

• Drive Commercial Success: Focus on creating commercially viable innovations that resonate with our client’s needs and strategic business goals.

• Brand Expression: Create compelling designs and graphic assortments that are innovating, while staying true to branded client guardrails.

What You Bring

• A deep passion for creating innovative products that appeal to clients

• Using creative design to solve product cost limitations

• Expertise in product construction, trims, materials, and apparel manufacturing with a keen eye for the finest details.

• A collaborative mindset, eager to work across teams to bring your ideas to life.

• Experience in leading the design process from concept to final product including costing, graphic creation and material development.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, inspiring way to internal teams and external clients.

• A commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing to help elevate the team’s collective talent

• Apparel Design Experience

• Material/Textile

Design Principal Product Designer - Core Platform at BVNK

Principal Product Designer leading design strategy for core platform systems including onboarding, treasury, reconciliation, billing, and financial crime compliance tooling.

Lead Hybrid Posted 19 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About us:

We believe the next generation of financial services will be powered by stablecoins.

Founded in 2021, our mission at BVNK is to accelerate global money movement.

We’re building stablecoin-native infrastructure so businesses can move value instantly across borders and networks. With global licenses and T1 bank partnerships, we facilitate billions in transactions for enterprise clients like Worldpay, Deel, LianLian Global, and Rapyd.

Our technology is transforming how businesses operate globally by eliminating payment delays, reducing costs, and unlocking trapped capital.

We’re a diverse team spread across EMEA, North America, and APAC, with a shared belief that stablecoins are the new infrastructure layer for financial services, and that BVNK is at the forefront of this shift.

In 2025, we secured strategic investment from Visa, following our $50 million Series B with Haun Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Scribble Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Avenir, and Tiger Global. With the backing of these leading investors, we’re accelerating our growth – and we’re looking for smart, ambitious people to help us build the future of financial services.

We’re incredibly honored to have made Newsweek’s list of The Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces three years running (most recently in 2025) and to have been recognised by LinkedIn as one of the Top 20 Startups in the UK in 2024.

About this role in the team:

Design at BVNK is scaling into 2 areas: Customer Value Stream (the surfaces our clients use to send, receive, store, and convert) and Core Platform (the systems that make all of it work). We’re hiring a Principal Product Designer to own design for Core Platform and Fincrime.

This is the chess end of design at BVNK. The work spans onboarding, treasury, reconciliation, billing, core processing, and financial crime — compliance case management, sanctions and transaction monitoring, internal ops tooling, and the platform primitives every customer-facing product depends on. The users are experts — compliance analysts, ops teams, finance — and the design problems are about taming real complexity, holding several constraints in your head at once, and finding the move that’s both correct and elegant.

You’ll be one of two Principal Designers, reporting to the Head of Design, and partnering closely with the Directors of Product for Platform and Fincrime on long-range strategy. While we continue to build out the senior bench, you’ll also work day-to-day alongside our senior product managers on the problems in front of us. The pod includes our Lead Designer for the Design System, whose work you’ll help shape strategically.

As the area grows, this role has a path into design management.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Own design for Core Platform and Fincrime end-to-end

  • Set the design direction for Product Platform (onboarding, treasury & reconciliation, billing, core processing) and Fincrime (compliance, monitoring, case management)
  • Partner with PM and engineering to define problems, explore solution spaces, validate concepts, and ship product improvements that move the metrics that matter for these areas — operational efficiency, false-positive rates, time-to-resolution, onboarding conversion, platform reliability
  • Stay involved through launch and iteration. Handoff is not the finish line.

Work AI-first, not AI-curious

  • Start in an LLM. Use Claude to clarify intent, draft short PRDs, pressure-test approaches, and surface risks, edge cases, and second-order effects before involving the wider team
  • Prototype with Claude Code. Generate working flows and interfaces, then guide them on structure, behaviour, and UX quality. Partner with engineers on what graduates into the product
  • Treat research as a velocity tool, not a gate. Talk to internal users (ops, compliance, finance) and external customers directly; run small tests; adjust direction quickly
  • Bring work into Figma for full state coverage, system alignment, and production readiness once direction is validated

Design for the 80⁄20 in a complex domain

  • Encode the judgment and complexity required for regulated, high-stakes workflows under the hood, while keeping the default experience simple and successful for most users
  • Build for expert users without falling into the trap of exposing every option. Decide what to surface, what to automate, and what to hide
  • Hold the line on design quality across surfaces that are easy to neglect because they’re internal

Raise the bar across the design org

  • Run crits and design reviews in your area, and contribute to them across the team
  • Mentor senior and mid-level designers; help them grow into harder problems
  • Share prompts, patterns, workflows, and learnings — what works with LLMs, what doesn’t, what’s worth standardising
  • Partner with the Lead Designer for the Design System (who sits in this pod) on the strategic direction of the system, making sure Core Platform work strengthens it

What we need from you:

  • A portfolio that demonstrates leading design for complex, operational, or expert-user products — not just consumer surfaces. Compliance, ops tooling, financial systems, developer platforms, healthcare workflows, or similar
  • Evidence of shipping work that moved real business or operational metrics, and an ability to talk about those numbers fluently
  • Fluent, daily use of LLMs and AI prototyping tools as part of your actual workflow — not as something you’ve read about. Be prepared to show us how you use them
  • Senior craft in Figma, prototyping, and design systems, with the judgment to know when each is the right tool and when it isn’t
  • A track record of operating as a senior IC across multiple product areas and influencing peers, PMs, and engineering leaders
  • Experience in fintech, payments, crypto/stablecoins, or another regulated domain is a strong plus but not required if the operational/expert-UX experience is there
  • Excellent written communication. A lot of our work happens async, and clarity compounds

What you can expect from us:

  • Fair and competitive salary at every stage of your growth
  • Flexible working hours, with hybrid working at its heart
  • A culture built on passionate, growth-minded people
  • A flexible approach to holiday
  • Opportunities to travel to our offices around the world
  • An open and creative environment where you can help us define the future of BVNK, its culture, and its opportunity sets

At BVNK, we are focused on building a diverse and inclusive team. While you may not meet all of our requirements, we’d encourage you to apply if you meet the majority of our expectations. You may be a great fit for this role or another role in our team.

Design Product Designer

Design and ship user-facing product features for a healthcare app, from prototyping through implementation, using AI tools to accelerate the design process.

Mid Hybrid Posted 19 days ago RemoteOK Dev
What this role involves
The Role

We're looking for a product designer who designs, prototypes, and ships. Someone who knows the difference between software that works and software that makes someone smile.

Clinicians use Heidi to get away from keyboards and back to patients. We want the product to feel as considered as the best software you've ever used: cohesive, quiet, and precise across every surface. When a clinician's tools feel right, they spend less time fighting software and more time with patients. That's the job.

You'll own specific features across Heidi's product surface, from the first rough frame through to what lands in front of clinicians. You'll work directly with engineers, care about the 3px padding issue as much as the information architecture, and ship work you're proud of, not just work that passes review.

This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne. If you're somewhere else and you're exceptional, we'll make it work.

We don't care about logos. Show us what you've made, and tell us why it's good.

What You'll Do

  • Produce pixel-precise, interaction-complete work you'd put in your portfolio, not work that just clears the bar
  • Use AI tools as part of your process: generating variants, accelerating exploration, moving from rough concept to refined solution faster than traditional workflows allow
  • Work directly with engineers during implementation, reviewing builds and flagging where quality has slipped from the spec
  • Sweat the details that separate good software from trusted software: type choices, spacing, motion, micro-interactions
  • Work within and contribute to the design system: apply existing patterns with rigour, flag where patterns are missing or broken
  • Share work early, give honest critique, and receive feedback with the same seriousness you'd give it

What We're Looking For

  • A portfolio that shows craft at the component and screen level. We want to feel something when we look at it, not just follow the UX flow.
  • You use AI tools (Figma AI, Claude Code, or similar) as part of your workflow: regularly and with intent, not occasionally
  • Strong foundational skills: typography, layout, colour, component architecture. The kind of thing you can see immediately in someone's work.
  • You can defend a design decision without referencing user testing; you have opinions about easing curves, optical versus mathematical alignment, and why a component should be structured the way it is
  • When you see a broken pattern in production, your instinct is to fix it, not file a ticket

If you answer 'no' to these, this may not be the job for you:

  • Are you geeky about software? Have you picked up a new tool in the last two weeks and gotten excited about it?
  • Does inconsistent spacing in a shipped product genuinely bother you?
  • Can you defend a design decision without referencing user testing?
  • Are you able to ship without a design system team, governance structure, and research coordinators at your beck and call?
  • Does the prospect of turning clinical chaos into something quiet, precise, and beautiful make you feel fuzzy inside?

Why Heidi?

Our health systems hurt everybody. Systems are log-jammed, clinicians' lives degrade in quality, and patients churn through the meat-grinder.

This is neither a special nor interesting insight.

However, it means we're solving a real problem. Hundreds of thousands of clinicians use Heidi. Every clinician using Heidi gets hours back in their day. This is the starting point to build the product of your dreams: immense distribution, and a world of potential.

You'll join a team that doesn't celebrate fundraise milestones, imaginary valuations, and glossy PR. We live and breathe the pain of modern health systems, and won't rest until we've exacted the change we'd like to see. We're medicos, engineers, and designers who've felt (on every side of the equation) what non-care feels like - the moral and practical toll as a provider or receiver.

The bad news is it's not an easy job - you will tear your hair out more than once. Modern technology company concepts don't transpose unto healthcare easily. The lows are really low.

The good news is you will trust and admire everybody you work with, and rest easy knowing you're doing THE defining work of your career. The highs are blindingly high.

Heidi will take care of you. We offer a $1,000 annual learning and development budget, a $150/month health and wellness allowance, a $500 home office budget, 26 weeks paid primary parental leave and 18 weeks paid secondary parental leave, fertility support up to $10,000, four weeks of work from anywhere per year, and serious equity.

True A-players progress extremely fast here. The nature of the scale-up game is demanding, but we don't track hours or micromanage - you're trusted to perform. We value mental health and adapt to your schedule. We operate on outcomes > inputs, not process theatre. We all take the bins out, metaphorically and literally.
